Monday: Every day this week $500 will be added to the Bad Beat Jackpot.

Daily High Hand

In order to qualify for the daily High-Hand jackpot, you must be playing at one of our Texas Hold'em tables. You can check the High Hand status in the lobby under the table list. A $250.00 jackpot will be paid to you if you hold the highest hand of the day ending at 11:59am EST. In order for your hand to qualify it must go to a showdown and be played at a real money table.

Bad Beat Jackpot

Everyone has a Bad Beat story they love to relate. It usually begins not unlike the above quote. The nice thing about it happening at PokerGameRoom.com is you'll be rewarded for it.
Our Bad beat Jackpot always starts at $2000. Every Thursday morning at 12:00 AM the Jackpot will increase by $250 if it had not been hit since the previous Wednesday at 11:59:59 PM. You will receive a portion of the jackpot prize pool if you are playing at a table where aces full of queens (A, A, A, Q, Q) or better is beat.
The prize pool will be awarded as follows: 50% to the loser of the hand, 25% to the winner and 25% split between the other seated players who actively participated in the hand (sit outs do not receive a portion of the prize pool).

Qualifier:

· The losing hand must consist of Aces full of Queens (A, A, A, Q, Q) or better.
· Both hole cards must be used in the winner and loser's hand and it must go to a showdown.
· 3 or more players must be dealt into the hand.
· 3 Aces on the board does not qualify.
· Only table limits of $2/$4 and higher qualify.
· Hands played in tournaments do not qualify.

Tournaments

PokerGameRoom.com is happy to announce that single table Hold’em tournaments are now being offered at PokerGameRoom.com. Tournaments will start with exactly 10 players seated with a winner being declared when one player has won all the chips. At this time the top three finishers will be paid and the tournament will be closed.

Tournament Schedule: Currently open 24 hrs / 7 days a week.

Each single table tournament generally lasts a little over an hour.

Tournament Rules

1.  You can enter any single table tournament by posting the required buy-in and entry fee.

2.  All tournaments will start when the table is full: 10 players.

3.  Tournaments are played until 1 player has all of the chips.

4.  You are eliminated when you lose all of your chips; no re-buys are allowed.

5.  There are currently 6 different tournaments with the prizes based on the amount of the buy-in and your placement. The top 3 finishers get paid according to the following schedule:

6.  Tournaments are not raked as the entry fee pays for the table time.

7.  PokerGameRoom.com is not a party to any wager and only serve to oversee the event and the wagers that are made by the participants. All prize money distributed is a pool of the buy-in amounts contributed by individual players.

8.  Every player will start the tournament with 800 tournament chips; these chips have no monetary value.

9.  The limits, blinds and bets are raised after every 10 hands played as the table shows below.

The final level is played until the winner is declared.

10.  At the start of the tournament, you are dealt one card face up. The player receiving the highest card by suit (high – low: spades, hearts, diamonds, clubs) will get the dealer button for the first hand.

11.  When only 2 players are remaining, the small blind has the button and will act first before the flop.

12.  Each betting round will consist of one bet, and up to a maximum of three raises for a total of 4 bets per round.

13.  With only two players are remaining in any hand, there is a maximum of five raises for a total of 6 bets per round.

14.  If a player who is the small blind is eliminated, the button does not move. This ensures the next player in order does not miss the big blind. If the player who is in big blind position is eliminated, the button moves and one player receives the benefit of not posting the big blind for that round. All players have an equal opportunity to benefit from this scenario.

15.  Tournaments are played straight through until one player has all of the chips: No Breaks. So if inclined…make sure the beer and potato chips are handy.

16.  When you lose all of your chips, you are out of the tournament and placed in the order that you were eliminated. ie. In a 10 player tournaments, if you are the 8th player eliminated you finished in 3rd place and will receive your portion of the prize pool.

17.  If more than one player is eliminated in the same hand, the player that had the most chips at the start of the hand finishes in the higher placing. If the eliminated players had the same amount of chips at the start of the hand, the players will tie for the position. ie. If two players tie for 2nd place, the prize pool for second and third place are combined, each of the tied players receives 50% of the combined total.

18.  PokerGameRoom.com will not assist players who make deals during tournaments. The tournaments continue until the winner is declared and the payoffs are made according to the laid out structure.

19.  No soft playing allowed…All players should be played against with the same intensity; team play may result in being banned from future tournaments.

20.  If you lose connection or your computer freezes, have All-ins remaining and also have chips at stake in a hand, you will be declared All-in based on the All-in rules.

21.  You must understand the accept risks of Internet disconnections. If you are not connected before a hand starts, you will be dealt cards and then folded automatically. If you are in position to post a blind and are not connected, the blind is posted automatically and your hand is folded.. This continues until you re-establish a connection or have run out of chips.

22.  Intentionally going All-in is always grounds for dismissal from any tournament and being banned from PokerGameRoom.com.

23.  In the unlikely event of a server problem crash, all tournaments in play are deemed as cancelled. Once the server re-starts, we will refund the full Buy-in and entry fee.

24.  Railbird chat privileges for players watching any of the tournaments will be removed if deemed to be abusive.

25.  Management decisions are final.
